Supervisor - Counsellor - Reiki Master/Teacher

Before training as a Counsellor I worked within Social Services for 17 years. I organised a scheme to help disadvantaged children and their families. I became aware of the need for people to feel supported to offload their troubles without fear of being judged.

I then trained in Person-Centred Counselling and gained my Diploma in Rogerian Therapy from the University of Warwick in 1999. I also have specialist training in Relationship Counselling. I went on to train as a Supervisor of Counsellors and gained an Advanced Diploma in 2003. As an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I am committed to working within the BACP code of ethics.

I believe in a holistic approach to health and well-being and the connection of mind/body/spirit underlies all my practice.

I am also a Reiki Master/Teacher with interest in crystal therapy.

I have extensive experience counselling children, teenagers, adults with depression anxiety, stress, issues of loss and bereavement, and self-esteem.

I offer the following:-

Counselling for Adults or Children one to one.

Counselling Couples and families.

Supervision for Counsellors or students.

Reiki Treatments & Reiki Courses to Level one, two and three.
